Query Service

Service Description: This locator enables you to query GIS layers in the City of Las Vegas. The result of this operation is a find results resource. Each result includes a response object that contains an errormsg, jurisdiction, layerdefault, querystring and queryresult in the either XML or JSON.

Query Parameter Fields:

• latlng
• layerID (optional-default is Jurisdiction layer)
• sqlquery (optional-default returns the jurisdiction)
• format (optional-default is 'xml')
• jsonCallback (optional - only used if format is json)

Query Return Fields:

• errormsg (returns error description when validation fails)
• jurisdiction (returns jurisdiction containing latlng that was submitted)
• layerdefault (returns ID of default layer used )
• querystring (returns querystring used to filter results)
• queryresult (returns query results including field names)

Return Formats:

• xml (default)
• json
